National Zoological Park Asia TrailWashington, DCAsia Trail won the 2006 Presidential Citation for Sustainable Design from the Washington DC chapter of the American Institute of Architects. Asia Trail is a 7-acre complex of new indoor and outdoor facilities on an existing site at the National Zoo. The National Zoo laid a foundation for the caliber of sustainability and design to be expected from future revitalization efforts. |
